Swimming certificate

We missed the last session of last terms swimming when the certificates were given out - the eldest picked up his this evening (they had forgotten about it!) He is SO PROUD of it.  What is lovely is that the youngest, who hasn't got his yet, was also really proud of his brother. 

I was in London for a Benevolent Fund meeting today, there was a bit too much focus on fund management over benevolence.  It's always an eye opener to the hardship some people have and good to be able to help where it is possible. 

Today I'm grateful for: 
The husband taking the boys to school to free up a little time for me 
Calling the school to say I'd managed to take a wrong turn on the way to pick up the boys from the train station and would be late, and the school laughing and putting the boys straight into after school club at the drop of a hat
Finally sorting out our half term plans!
