postbox

I may have blipped this postbox before..it's about 5 minutes' walk from our house so I use it quite a lot. Today I was posting a card for my sister - it's her birthday tomorrow. Maybe even now, the card is speeding down south, on its way to Brighton. I always find it miraculous that letters find their way to the right place (usually).

Most of today has been spent outdoors; Sarah and I took Jess for a swim and then after lunch I did some weeding and planting more seeds. I remember once telling a friend that I spent two hours gardening every day and she couldn't understand it..well I spend far more than that at this time of year!
