home sweet home

An unexpected evening at home as my plans changed, but what a wonderful night to be here! The bluebells are still looking lovely and the light even past 7pm is bright and beautiful. I had a walk down by the river with my camera and felt my inner peace returning.

It had been a busy day at the cafe, I was on the till with a trainee - it was her first time on the till and she picked it up really quickly. We had three visiting ukulele players playing for charity, so that added to the jolly atmosphere :-)

Sarah cooked the tea tonight - Meera Sodha's Lime Pickle Rice followed by her banana and coconut loaf, which we ate with Alpro mango yoghurt and some Scotch strawberries. I am full now and ready to watch tonight's episode of "Better Call Saul".
