East to West again

Day 6 / walk 5. Today we walked from Coyevinas to Pelakas. Two Dutch ladies have been walking the same route/ staying at the same tavernas since day 3. One of them decided to have a beach day so we were joined by the other who was delightful company and a similar pace. We left the start and headed up through a landscape of limestone rocks to reach Pantokrator Monastery and across from the radar golf ball on top of Agi Deka( ten saints) mountain, 573m We were traversing east to west this time.
Then of course a lot of down via villages of Agi Deka, Alepochori, and Kamara before climbing back up to Sinarades for lunch. After that we went higher with wonderful views of the coast on both sides and our final destination Pelekas in the distance. Next came down towards the valley . Finally we reached a level path and went towards the village with a few more ups and downs to arrive at the bottom of the village and ascend to Jimmy’s Taverna, 27000 steps/ 12.5 miles .
