Brunch In The Brush

This afternoon I heard quite a commotion on the water.  Earlier, I'd been photographing a family of Mallards and the fuss was coming from the same spot.  Usually, critters have a darn good reason for making noise so when I investigated I saw this otter up on the bank snacking on something which I hoped wasn't a baby mallard.  Since I think they'd rather have fish, I assumed he might just have been fishing a little too close to the mallard's home.  Once he had his meal he took his sweet time enjoying it before slipping back into the water.  See Extra
