Monday: Rideau Canal

It was a public holiday today - Victoria Day.  

We took the bus downtown, to Lansdowne, and walked back up into town along the Rideau Canal.  It didn’t actually take us as long as we thought but it was pretty pleasant.  Several folks were out on canoes - I’m not sure if canoeing with traffic on either side of me would be my idea of serenity….
