A bit of colour

Finally getting some colour in the garden so I nipped put between rain showers to blip this wee sweet pea blossom. Thanks to BikerBear for hosting FlowerFriday.

Busy day getting organised for young Mr PHL and his girlfriend to come down this evening before they fly out to Florida in the morning.

They had requested mince and tatties for dinner so I got that made in the morning and ready for reheating before sorting out the spare bedroom, cleaning bathrooms and generally tidying up. Managed to take Phin out for a walk round the field where he had fun bouncing through the grass and before I knew it they’d arrived.

We opened a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate the engagement and had a quiet dinner and an early night as they planned on leaving at 7.30 to get to the airport.
