Allington Lock

All decked out for the Jubilee. Not much custom for the little cafe kiosk, it had been a miserable day until then. Much needed rain fell for most of the day.

Susan went to see her mum in the morning. I went for a run in the rain then potted up some tomato plants.

Finally overcame a problem with the car. We couldn’t get it to charge at home. Eventually, a soft reboot cleared the fault and charging commenced.

We took the car to Waitrose on the other side of the town to pick up some coffee and a few other bits and pieces. It’s very enjoyable to drive!

From there we walked along the River Medway, always an enjoyable route, by the time we got back the sun was shining.

Thanks to Maurice1948 for pointing out that yesterday’s blip was a hawkbit and for also explaining the difference between Marestails and Horsetails. It’s horsetails we have and I understand these are also these on the new plot that the council want us to move onto.
