A road through time

Our road is like an architectural text book. These thatched cottages have been here for centuries. 19th and early 20th century farm cottages now rub eaves with late 20th century design and build and some houses are even built in the 21st century. Their juxtaposition makes a walk into the village very interesting.

I was back on a work call this morning before a surprise invitation to have a PCR test. I hope the LFT has not been deceitful?!

This evening the RHS Chelsea Flower Show opens and provides an interesting watch. In another life we were privileged to attend the Monday Charity evening. It was an evening of very special significance and one we will never forget.
