Spring melt

Yesterday's rain and the spring melt meant that the river was running high this morning. I did not linger long as, although it was bright and sunny, the wind was raw; enough time to buy some daurade royale and rouget (sea bream and red mullet) for tonight's meal with friends and some asparagus that has just come into season. Gariguette strawberries and ice cream for pudding. Yum, yum.
