A day in the life

Mark and I went to the municipal shelter again this morning to walk the dogs. It didn't take very long today as there were  several extra volunteers and we were home before 11am for which I was glad as it was already uncomfortably hot and sunny for walking by the time we finished. Always an emotional see saw between feeling useful and useless, I found it particularly distressing today, and I'm now processing whether or not I will continue going. 

Today's collage (extra) is not my main photo because this evening, being Mark's last before returning to Blighty in the morning, we went to Esinti restaurant for a classic Akbuk sunset dinner, always worthy of being the main event.
