Mono Monday: The Wind in the Willows

With thanks to FrankS. I thought today was an opportunity to show how the willow house is coming along. I blipped it being built and then settling in earlier in the year. Now it is sprouting well though admittedly a bit top heavy. It's so lovely to see children using it - there are some regulars who bring an afternoon snack and sit on the seats. Delightful! Though actually not easy to show in mono.

Up early - too early really - and pottered about making preparations for the day. It's our grandson's day for childminding and he will be on his way soon. The sun is breaking through the cloud so, although we are sticking around the house today, I hope we will get outside at some point.

The news of his cousin who was sick yesterday is much better and she seems to be bouncing back. Now I'm off to walk Flora and pop some cheese scones into the oven ready for the hungry lad. Have a good Monday.
