A perfect day - backblip
My great Niece got married today to a very nice young man and the day was indeed perfect in all respects. Gorgeous weather, in a beautiful setting at Hampton on the North bank of the Thames. The wedding service took place in The Church of St Mary's and was conducted by a really lovely and fun Vicar . After the service many of the guests, including us, were transported to the reception at the Hampton Court House on a red double-decker London bus.
Hampton Court House, is noted as a stunning, glamorous and romantic venue set in 8 acres of magical 18th century gardens, it is a hidden gem located opposite the world renowned Hampton court Palace, and certainly lived up to its advertisement for everyone today.
The bride is the elder granddaughter of my late sister - she would so loved to have been here today to see her granddaughter looking so beautiful and happy with the lovely young man she has chosen to marry.
Food was wonderful, the speeches were great, especially the Bridegroom's. The band was fab, and loud; I've lost my voice today!!
Our lovely friends came to pick us up sometime after 10 whilst the rest partied on 'til carriages at midnight.
L&J are off on their honeymoon to Canada on Monday. We wish them all the happiness in the world and a wonderful life together.
It has indeed been a perfect day.
Extra: Another one of Mr & Mrs B.
