A good cake and a great evening

This is the chocolate cake with the salted caramel sauce - and the six of us last night. We had a jolly evening but I am still not used to spending a lot of time with a very talkative person who is also a bit deaf!

Mr C drove Carole and David to Alnmouth for the train after lunch. Since then we have been packing the van and sorting food etc for the trip south tomorrow. We’ve found a NT property we can stop at on the way south, near Barnsley, and a place near Hereford we can park for our last night. I’m quite excited about visiting new places and the Blipmeet!

It’ll be an early night as we are tired after a busy few days.
