Varna

We have had a free day in Varna to recover and explore.  The weather is warm and sunny so we walked into town and up to the Dormition of the Mother of God Cathedral, first opened in 1886.  We then wandered through the town, had a coffee before going on towards the sea where we had lunch in a lovely beach-side restaurant.  After that it was definitely time for a paddle - see extra!  The sea was warm and lovely and I may be tempted to actually go for a swim if time allows!
