A Life Without Limits

Finally found some time to draw a portrait today. This is Lena Maria, a truly inspirational woman; Olympic gold medalist, singer, painter and writer. These achievements alone would be admirable enough, but add to that the fact Lena Maria was born with no arms and one leg and you have someone bordering on the miraculous. Kazuko, Valerie and I have been privileged to meet Lena Maria and spend a little time with her when she performed a concert in Kobe, and she was gracious enough to spend a few hours visiting our school.

Think upon Lena Maria and you will never feel sorry for yourself.
