Beautiful Laburnum trees in the Church garden.
The Feast Day of St. Christopher Magallanes.
It is a pleasant afternoon here in Rishton, with a temperature recorded on the laptop as 14c.
I went out for a blip walk, around part of Petre Crescent, a favourite walk of mine, where the new tarmac is looking good and the gardens full of beauty..
The blackbirds were busy and some were singing. The whole neighbourhood is dressed in Spring green and the Sycamore trees in particular, are full of new leaves.
The Church garden continues to look mostly lovely, but there is a sense of wildness too, as the dandelions have not been cropped.
I just clean up litter now and again, but I do not own a lawn mower or the bigger garden gadgets.
I shall be knitting and then reading during the afternoon and look forward to Vegan mushroom rolls and salad for the evening meal.
Thank you for visiting my site and enjoy your Saturday.
