cheese me!

this is a picture of my two year old niece. she is so smart and she really does know how to entertain. she loves phones because she tries to take pictures with them. in this picture, she's trying to take a picture of me while saying,"cheese me!" she is such a joy to watch and grow and learn more each day.
i am fascinated by the way babies learn. babies learn from our actions from our everyday routines, habits and whatever else they may pick up visually. i also like how even though a child may have a 30-word vocabulary, you can still understand and communicate with them in their broken sentences. children are so fascinating, and it's funny to think we were all lchildren,at some point in time. it's such a humbling experience to see a child grow and learn.
