Scabiosa Pink Mist

It was raining hard when we woke up this morning so I drove Tess over to Keep Fat then it was back to the doctor for another appointment. The statins and / or new blood pressure tablets I was prescribed recently have caused my feet to swell and ache again so the decision was to stop taking anything for a couple of weeks and see what happens!

The rest of the day had been busy with domestic stuff: baking bread, shopping, housework, another coat of stain on the garden table, making another batch of rhubarb gin, and a visit from Chris after work.

This scabiosa, which has just come into flower, is one of the recent acquisitions for the new flower bed.
