Bit of a Bench

Stage 2 of the bench renovation project is finally underway, it doesn’t do to rush these things. Think it’ll need another coat of Hammerite, can do that tomorrow if the rain stays off. I think I’ll have it finished by Christmas.
Golf this morning, playing for the seniors against Glencorse. The team won and more surprisingly so did we. Obviously I had a good partner.
Then along to a committee meeting at the bowling club this evening, a few things needing to be agreed around next season’s league reconstruction but no arguments thank goodness. We’re hoping to get a new Monday night league started as well, all to do with using the lanes as much as possible and generating much needed dosh for the club. The joint was jumping, skittle lanes full, tenpin lanes full, folk playing snooker. A joy to see!
