Pop

Golf this morning, still seeking well-hidden skills. Allotment this evening, still seeking out less well-hidden weeds. The cukes seem OK (even the one flattened by a collapsed cloche), the toms less so, the kale is battling gamely against leaf-stripping monsters, the strawbs are in full bloom. Everything is about three weeks late though and with no warm weather forecast is likely to stay that way. Still, the first giant poppies are flowering and that’s always good to see.
