Yellow in the sunshine

Recently it has been late in the day before I have started thinking about Blipfoto, but this means that there is often beautiful evening sunlight. Tonight it lit up this striking plant. I am hoping a blipper will be able to tell me what it is. It came to me from our friends P&P from their garden in The Cotswolds, two moves ago.
