The Folly
After a couple of jobs on the garden and rear field, with nice weather I decided on cycle ride around my village of Goodrich (Herefordshire). I ended up cycling 7.25 miles, a good part of the ride being on Courtfield Estate land bordering the hamlet of Welsh Bicknor.
I stopped to take a photograph of a large pond with a folly alongside, something I'd only seen from a distance on top of Coppett Hill. A stunning setting, whomever owns it is very lucky! I presume it is the Vaughan family who owns most of the land around here and I'm told have lineage going back a thousand years. Where did I go wrong? :)
