River Walk

This weeks W-I-D-E on Wednesday Challenge theme is 'body of water', and with that in mind, we decided on a local River Walk of about eight miles.

The walk was from home (Goodrich, Herefordshire) to Welsh Newton, along the River Wye to Lydbrook and then to Symonds Yat, and then return home.

The blipfoto is taken near the pedestrian footbridge at Lydbrook (Gloucestershire) of a nesting swan. The light cast lovely reflections in the water of the surrounding vegetation.

It's been another warm day, despite being a bit dull, and this evening it eventually started raining.
