Life in Sunny Dubai

Shortbread

(19/5/22)
I seem to stay indoors on alternate days, which always makes blipping a challenge. Today it's the turn of the "Limited Edition" biscuit tin that we bought last Friday to commemorate Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee! Especially blipped for my sister SweetArt who has just taken delivery of two kittens (so she won't have any trouble with emergency blips for the foreseeable future!).

Tuesday mornings are now becoming the day/time to do the ironing catch up with chores. G had a short day, so was home soon. After lunch, we finished watching the movie we started last night - My Fair Lady. I, er, fell asleep, so missed it!

G has a student (Nandi) who comes to the flat on a Tuesday afternoon. She had an assessment two weeks ago; today was her first lesson. All went well. Incredibly, Nandi's mum gave us the DVD of a movie we love called Africa United. They don't have a DVD player at home, so can't watch it. We've agreed to make a date (soon) when they can come over for a movie night.

Another day vanished; G is cooking up something special for Jeff & Margaret tomorrow, so did a bit of preparation for it.
