First waterlily

Some of the pond plants have still got scorched leaves from weeks of dry weather but the recent combination of sunshine and heavy rains has been fantastic for many things on the plot, the pond in particular.

The water level's gone up and my 'Rubra' pigmy waterlilies are putting on a show with their first flowers. I need to enjoy the blooms before the plants get infested with blackfly, as they often are later in the season!
