Wide-on-Wednesday: Body of Water

We've set off on a little holiday to visit friends and relatives. Today we drove to my Editor's home town of Macclesfield to revisit some old haunts and catch up with one or two of her late Mum's friends.

Our route took us over Woodhead Pass and then along the turnoff  to Glossop, so I knew this would give me the opportunity to photograph one of the reservoirs along that road for Bobsblips's Widwed challenge of "Body of Water". It can be tricky to find somewhere safe to stop the car along there but there's a small car park by Torside Reservoir so that's what features in this blip. There's a yacht club there and I'd hoped to be able to include some of them in the photo but none were out at the time.
