Welsh Poppies

We had a good walk through Hamilton Wood then across the fields to another wood, through that then around different fields and back through Hamilton Wood to the car.
It’s a bright, dry sunny day here, still windy, but warmer than it’s been.
This afternoon I set about lining my raised bed with membrane to protect the wood. What a fiddle, but it’s almost done.
Then I picked Hannah and Maggie up from school at three o’clock and it’s been all go until their Dad picked them up five minutes ago.

Yesterday’s avocado loaf was a big success. I took half of it down to Catriona and David, so hopefully they are enjoying it too. It’s delicious toasted with butter.
