Shortbread Tastes Better From A Tin

And obviously I looked after all the cats and not just one.
It's really hot today. In my shutter protected office it's 27,2°C (or just over 80°F). That's inside, in the shade. It's hot.
I had to go to the local supermarket for bread and milk and I planned it - get there, get the stuff, build in a time buffer for idiots in the queue, get the bus back and spare myself the long walk uphill with no shade.
Everyone in the supermarket seemed to be buying sunflower oil. Very odd. I got to the checkout with plenty of time but I knew I had at least 3 ditherers in front of me. The kind who check their receipts and query every price. I checked the app for my bus - showed as bang on time.
The ditherers dithered - as expected - but I got out with enough time to get to the bus stop in the now sweltering heat. Got to the bus stop. Yay for a little shade. The bus should be here in 2 minutes. Checked the app - my bus has been cancelled. Not the one before mine, not the bus after mine, just the one I was waiting for.
So the long walk home, uphill and without shade. Brutal. I'm still not good at extreme heat. And my wonky ankle and blistered foot really didn't add to the sum of my happiness. It's too darned hot.
