Pastéis de Nata

For the sake of the thing (you know, being tourists, an' all) we tried a few, just "a few", pastéis de nata... I think Ivy would have been willing to subsist on them for the duration; for me they're a one hit wonder and too sweet for my palate.

Yes, if you've not realised yet, Cheryl and Ivy have joined us in Lisbon. Now we are six. Cheryl and Ivy are staying with Charlie and Rory while we old people have moved into an apartment with very funky lighting. 

LED strips in the coving are operated by random switches around the apartment, so that one switch turns on a section then flicking the switch doesn't switch it off but only alters the colour temperature. Wiring, it's a thing.

We had fun finding the off switch. But not as much fun as finding the RCD reset when all the lighting goes off and yours truly is in the shower. Funky isn't always good. But overall the apartment was very comfortable.
