Rook with a Book
Our first visit to Fowey (pronounced Foy to rhyme with Joy) and this statue was at the harbour. It is called the Rook with a Book and celebrates the author Daphne du Maurier in the town where she lived. She wrote "the Birds" which Alfred Hitchcock made into the famous film of the same name. As you can see it was dull and did start to rain. When we drove back to the north coast the weather was gorgeous.
In extras another long exposure of 5s where a gull was kind enough to pose for me. Then a shot of a kite surfer in the Bay.
