NO run about time!

Today I have had NO run about time. I always have at least one lot of run about time a day but today I haven't had any. It's been raining ALL day.


When I went out for my 'first thing in the morning' walk it was raining so hard that I only went round the block and even then we both ended up soaked.


Ann went off to meet her manager for a coffee and a chat and she said she'd take me for a proper walk when she got back. She lied! I only got another little walk on my lead because it was still raining. And I got tied up outside the shop because she needed to pop in for a few mins.


This afternoon Ann went off to do a 'Meet & Greet' and I got another little walk on my lead in the rain, before she went. She said, 'Trixie, I should be back by about 4.30pm so I'll take you for some run about time then. Surely the rain will have stopped by then.' The rain hadn't stopped by then so I just got another little walk on my lead.


Sooooo................. I've had four walks today but I've been on my lead for all of them. Boohoooo. I haven't made a fuss though because I'm a very adaptable little collie pup who doesn't make a fuss.


Tomorrow our weather app is telling us it's going to be 19C and light cloud though our weather app often lies and as Ann isn't working, we might go off on a little adventure together somewhere. Watch this space!
