It’s a beautiful day

We didn’t wake til 11 today. Well me- himself woke me because he came back from bathroom and woke me.

We had breakfast and headed to the allotment. It was surprisingly warm despite the drizzle.

Luckily in the allotment site it’s like a little micro climate - the rain stopped and it got very warm very quickly.

I weeded a bed to ready it for parsnips and carrots. Then planted them and raked them in. Next. I lifted some random leeks and replanted them in the leek bed. Then I prepared the rest of the leek bed and planted for the first time - Soya beans!

I’m really interested to see how these grow!

Elsewhere on the plot - the broad beans and French beans are coming on. As are the garlic and onions. Shallots leave a little to
Be desired. Some of them disappeared.

The potatoes are well happy and the peas we put in a fortnight ago are amazing.

We came home after good couple of hours and set to do stuff on the garden but the rain came on and scuppered that

So we had a cuppa tea in Cosmo and then came in where I spent two hours catching up on blip’
