Red Kite

One of many Red Kites following a tractor, trying to find some easy food….and this one did. Another one seemed to have a tracker attached to his back. See more of them in the extras.

The morning, with a friend, we cycled down to Aigle and took the train to Bern for the start of a two day bike ride. We were on ebikes and cycled over 90km with over 1300m of ascent. The countryside was rolling hills and lovely farmland. We arrived in Romont, checked into the rented apartment and went for well earned pizza/ice cream. I had only one kilomètre left on my ebike when we arrived.,
