Junior Triathlete

This weekend we are 700km from the coast at a Triathlon in the outback - the Dirt N Dust Triathlon in Julia Creek, north west Queensland. There are over 600 competitors aged from 4 years. The usual town population of 600 explodes for a few days. The Junior competed this afternoon, the seniors on Saturday morning, with races on Saturday afternoon, bullride on Saturday night and a bog snorkelling competition on Sunday morning in the artesian bore drains. Jam packed fun....and all within strolling distance! My blip is Memphis who lives in Mt Isa and competed in the 10 - 13 year age group. Great effort!
