Almost done

Today was a garden day.  Mostly finished the painting inside the summer house apart from the fine details which I will leave until after my op when my hand is better able to grip.  The furniture arrived from Amazon after the disaster of an Aldi order so I assembled that too.  It would have been lovely to have enjoyed afternoon coffee there with Mum although it would be too hot for her.  I need to tidy up the edges of the grass which again I will do after my op as I have a few other things I need to do first.

Mr T was due his catheter change yesterday and I called in the afternoon as no one had been.  I was told I would get a phone call to discuss the way forward.  22:30 I was just getting ready to go to bed and the doorbell rang and it was two district nurses.  Mr T had not long settled down properly and I asked them to wait while I went to explain what was happening and they just went straight up while I was closing the door and barged into his room!  Then the light full on.  Poor chap.  He's seldom grumpy but he was then!  To make matters worse one of them disconnected the night bag without closing the tap so we had wet bedding and PJs to sort out too!  Thankfully he was able to go back to sleep.
