The price of nuts

Is extortionate, particularly hazelnuts. When I went to photograph squirrels at the end of March, our guide told us that it was getting very expensive to bait the squirrels with hazelnuts because of the cost.

After I'd managed to get back to the market following Covid, I'd noticed that the price was £11 a kilo. Today, as you can see, it was £13 a kilo.
