Phone Camera Test

Nothing particularly interesting or attractive about this shot, but it confirmed a suspicion that had been growing on me. I have a Google Pixel 6. For the last few months, the camera has been frustrating me. I would open the camera app, press the shutter button, and, no photo. Why?

It should have occurred to me earlier. I have to choose the focus point first, THEN press the shutter button. Duh!

So while I was waiting for Len outside Sainsbury's, I tested it. It seems to work. The residual frustration about this photo is that the man in black is twice the size he should be. Everything else is in proportion. For that, I blame Snapseed.

We had a bite to eat in the Baobab Café this afternoon. Can't go to Caffè Nero all the time. Did pop in to see Aziz, who is becoming quite comely. A polite way of saying he's putting on weight.
