Working in the East Mainland today gave me a chance to get another farm sign for my collection.

2 near misses to record.

First, I had just finished eating my chicken salad wrap when an item came on the radio about a recall of chicken products from the supermarket I'd visited, due to salmonella fears.

Shortly afterwards I was bitten by a farm dog! Dogs are one of my main worries about the job. I've had a couple of scares but it has never actually happened before.

Anyway, all is fine on both counts, thank goodness.

I read up on the details of the product recall and my kind of wrap wasn't on the list. (plus, I feel fine).
The bite didn't break the skin. Just a bruise and a fright.

Phew!
