Lines

Not something I’ve previously done, but last Saturday whilst walking through a wood I took a couple of recordings of the singing birds, including one I didn’t recognise. And today I converted that recording to a sonogram through Audacity software, the shape is quite distinct. It’s not a song I’m familiar with as I don’t come across the bird that often. I’ve established it’s a redstart.

All a bit rough and ready, and a bit to learn about how to do this effectively, but seeing songs as shapes is quite interesting. And it works as an abstract, even if I’m vaguely in the mix.
