More Signs of Spring
We hit 70F (20C) for the first time this year. With the warm-up came some heavy rains. The rivers and lakes are very high.
But...I still like to see the signs of Spring. The world is not meant to be gray...the world is meant to be full of color.
Questions abound with all of my shots today. From the left top corner...going clockwise:
1. If you have 2 or more cactus plants...they are called cacti. If you have 2 or more crocus flowers...are they called croci?
2. Ahhhh....Spring. Love is in the air...especially young love. Do you think they called ahead so they would both be wearing black tops?
3. A boy and his Grandpa-pa feeding the ducks. I didn't use the picture, but the little boy was "calling" the ducks in. "Quack...quack! Quack...quack!" Do you think that really helps to draw them in?
4. A robin with a mouth full of stuff. Since I couldn't spot a worm...is this for nesting? And...why are they called Robin Redbreast...when it is clearly orange?
After pulling a hamstring yesterday, I did a little research on the internet...because...everything you read on the internet is TRUE. I have a class 1 pull. Nothing torn. and it doesn't keep you from walking (which I did this morning), but...in certain movements...it will let you know you pulled it.
I wish I was smart enough not to play volleyball tonight, BUT...we're getting picked up at 6 p.m. The ball is packed, outfit is picked out, and the Gatorade is half frozen.
You receive the ball...
and then you bump...you set...you spike.
Only wish my hamstring...
was...more...childlike. (Sigh.)
