75th day of the war

Yesterday was a very busy day. Over time, the problems posed by the war are growing, and I do not see a solution yet.
On May 9, the city where I am now was calm, the enemy concentrated rocket fire on Donbass and Odessa. Unfortunately, our beautiful historical places are being destroyed again, and the tourist sites of Odessa are being shot at.

Yesterday I rode my bike out of town and looked at the villages around town. There are very beautiful landscapes and unusual terrain for me. The trip helped to distract a little from the problems and brought a lot of interesting impressions. Along the way I saw a big red hare, horses, a squirrel and many cats. Although May 9 is not a day off due to martial law, many have traditionally gone to nature and rested. This gives the impression of a normal life
Here in western Ukraine, people have no idea how to live in the east. The psyche of the people suffers greatly from their experiences, it is impossible to understand in words, but all those who survived the hell of the occupation have changed forever.

I'm trying to resume work, but for the third month I can't get the goods from abroad. I used to be able to bring delicacies from Asia and sell them in Ukraine. This is no longer possible. It is very sad when the business he has been doing all his life is ruined by a crazy dictator. I understand that many people are in this situation now, so I don't even know what kind of job I can find. There are almost no vacancies.
I am still very grateful for your help with money, because I do not know how else to help others survive in the new city. Thanks to you, parents and several other refugees from Mariupol can now live in the apartment. Payments from the state are just beginning to arrive, giving about 2000 UAH (~ 66 $) per month. The average rent is about $ 400 a month. Of course, it is impossible to live on this, so we try to occupy the apartments as much as possible and pay the rent together. Thanks to your help, about $ 300 was raised, which helped these people a lot. Once again I express my gratitude

It is difficult to say what is happening in Mariupol. There has been no contact with people for a long time, Russia already considers the city its territory. Yesterday the city was marched with a huge St. George's ribbon, it is actually a holiday on the bones of civilians. There is active propaganda, Russian flags and flags of the non-existent state of the USSR are hung everywhere. As a person who did not live in Soviet times, it is difficult for me to understand what is happening, for me it is just terrorists who seized my hometown.

I don't even want to compare it with the German fascists, they didn't even bother so much.
In Mariupol, 10,000 people died at the hands of the Nazis during the 23 months of German occupation. In Mariupol in 2022 at the hands of Russians killed at least 20 thousand (according to other estimates - 25 thousand people, but this figure may be much higher).
First, the city was destroyed by rocket artillery, then every 15 minutes air strikes on Mariupol, and then, when the defenders of the city retreated beyond the city, the Russians began firing on tanks from Mariupol.

Now the war is actually standing still. Russian troops cannot move inland, our troops do not have enough weapons to push the occupiers to the borders. This is such a suspended state, when it is unclear what will happen next. We stay for almost 3 months, although many analysts give us a few days. We will last a long time, but we have to pay too high a price for each day. I hope that this situation will make it clear to the world that humanism should be the basis of the state system. Life is the greatest value and no one has the right to take it away from another. We are all human, we all strive for development and happiness, we all want to live and benefit each other. Russian propaganda thinks otherwise, saying that they are good and everyone else is bad, and they must die. In my opinion, it is so destructive that I just can't understand how people can believe in this delusion at all.

Вчора був дуже напружений день. З часом виникає все більше проблем які приносить війна та поки що я не бачу жодного варіанту вирішення їх.
9 травня у місті де я зараз перебуваю пройшло спокійно, ворог сконцентрував ракетні обстріли по Донбасу та Одессі. Нажаль, знов руйнують наші гарні історичні місця, стріляють по туристичним пам'яткам в Одессі.
Вчора я поїхав з міста на велосипеді та подивився села навкого міста. Тут дуже гарні краєвиди та незвичний для мене рельєф місцевості. Подорож допомогла трішки відволіктися від проблем та принесла багато цікавих вражень. По дорозі бачив великого рудого зайця, коней, білок та багато котів. Хоч 9 травня в нас зараз не є святом, через військовий стан, багато людей по традиції вийшли на природу та відпочивали. Це створює враження нормального життя
Тут, на західній Україні люди навіть уявити собі не можуть яке зараз життя на сході. Психіка людей сильно страждає від пережитого, це неможливо якось зрозуміти через слова, але всі хто пережив пекло окупації змінився назавжди.

Я намагаюся відновити свою роботу, але вже третій місяць не можу отримати товар для продажу. Все що я міг робити раніше - імпортувати смаколики з азії та продавати в Україні. Зараз це вже неможливо. Дуже сумно коли справа, якої займався все життя руйнується через скаженого диктатора. Розумію що зараз дуже багато людей у такому самому становищі, тому навіть не знаю якого вида роботу можно знайти. Вакансій майже немає.
Я все ще дуже вдячний за вашу допомогу з грошима, бо не знаю як би інакше вдалося допомогти іншим вижити у новому місті. Батьки та ще декілька біженців з Маріуполя зараз можуть жити у квартирі завдяки вам. Виплати від держави тільки починають надходити, дають близько 2000грн (~66$) на місяць. При цьому середня вартість оренди житла коштує близько 400$ на місяць. На це звісно неможливо прожити, тому намагаємось по максимуму засіляти квартири та разом сплачувати оренду житла. Завдяки вашій допомозі було зібрано близько 300$, що дуже багато та надзвичайно допомогло цим людям. Ще раз висловлюю велику вдячність

Що відбувається у Маріуполі важко сказати. Зв'язку з людьми вже довгий час немає, росія вже вважає місто своєю територією. Вчора вони пронесли величезну георгієвську стрічку містом, це фактично свято на кістках мирних людей. Їде активна пропаганда, всюди вішають свої прапори та прапори неіснуючої держави СССР. Мені як людині, що взагалі не жила за часи радянського союзу складно зрозуміти що відбувається, для мене це просто терористи що захопили моє рідне місто.

Це навіть вже не хочеться порівнювати з фашистами з Німеччини, навіть вони не зробили так багато лиха.
В Маріуполі від рук нацистів за 23 місяці німецької окупації загинули 10 тисяч чоловік. В Маріуполі від рук рашистів у 2022 році загинуло не менше 20 тисяч чоловік (за іншими даними – 25 тисяч чоловік, але і це число може бути значно більшим).
Спочатку місто вбивали реактивною артилерією, потім кожні 15 хвилин на Маріуполь стали скидати авіаційні бомби, а потім, коли захисники міста посунулись від кордонів міста, росіяни стали розстрілювати Маріуполь з танків.

Зараз війна фактично стоїть на місці. Російські війська не мають змоги просунутись вглиб країни, наші війська не мають достатньо зброї щоб прогнати окупантів до кордонів. Це такий підвішений стан коли не зрозуміло що буде далі. Ми тримаємось вже майже 3 місяці, хоча багато аналітиків давали нам декілька днів. Ми протримаємось ще довго, але за кожен день доводиться платити занадто високу ціну. Я сподіваюсь що ця ситація дасть світу зрозуміти що фундаментом системи держави повинен бути гуманізм. Життя - це найбільша цінність та ніхто не має право відбирати його у іншого. Ми всі люди, ми всі прагнемо розвитку та щастя, ми всі хочемо жити та приносити користь один одному. Російська пропаганда думає інакше тому займається групізмом, розповідаючи що вони хороші, а всі інші погані та вони повинні померти. Це настільки деструктивно у моєму розумінні, що я просто не можу збагнути як люди взагалі можуть вірити цій маячні.
