magazine heaven

Well - this was a BIG surprise. We only went in for a coffee.  I've never seen so many magazines on sale in one place before.  The main blip shows just a fraction of what was on sale.  There were the usual suspects - homes, trains, stamps, gender and so on.  

And then publications I didn't even know - could never have imagined - would be the subject of a periodical.  Not one - but three different titles on 'whittling wood with a Swiss Army Knife'.  

And then books - proper books.  Rows and rows of them, including, I'm pleased to see, some Children's Classics.  (See extras) Although I thought the Karl Marx might be a bit heavy going without pictures.

Best of all - really good coffee in an upstairs cafe.  Surrounded by more books.  We'll be back.  I happen to own a Swiss Army Knife.
