Parrot tulip

Here it is, in all it's diseased glory! The colour is intense. See here for its previous appearance.....also the plant in the extra on that day (spotted catsear, get me!) I rescued not a moment too soon - see today's extra for the extremely thorough job the council workies were doing on the pavements. (Glad to see they're not spraying this year, though). Have got the catsears in pots at the allotment, hope they survive OK.

Oh, and much later was pleased to see several Green chums get elected to various councils in Scotland.
