Skara Brae Day

This was one of those days when the weather regularly changed from sunny and blue sky to raining and overcast and back again, many times. As the saying goes in Orkney - if you don't like the weather, wait for half an hour.

I thought the beach stones at Skaill looked stunning with the blue sky above. I took this photo a few minutes later and we immediately had to skurry off the beach as the rain came down.
