Slugs’ Breakfast

Having dropped Sophie off at school, we headed to Sainsbury’s for our regular Wednesday breakfast at their cafe, only to discover that it is not just our local one that has been closed. We were forced to go to Costa instead!

After a bit of shopping and calling in to check one or two things about our planned en-suite bathroom revamp at Wickes, we came back to bake the weekly bread then spend the afternoon in the garden.

I put the finishing touches to the new bed (in the blip here) by planting some dahlias and begonias. Despite the little blue deterrents, I’m suspecting they may have provided the local slugs with breakfast by the morning - I may have to sleep in the garden, on guard duty!
