May The 4th Be With You!

As it’s “Star Wars Day”, I thought a blip of the pond in front of the 4th green might be in order. The force was certainly with me on the golf course this morning: I managed to par this hole and went on to par 5 more and birdie another, getting my best score since we started recording them electronically, 192 rounds and nearly 3 years ago. Taking my handicap into account, I was 9 under par for the round. I suspect it will be a long time, if ever, before I better that but it was reassuring to know I can play a whole round decently, (if only the once!) even if it meant my handicap went down by 3 shots.

Celebrated with a trip to the carpet shop in Glastonbury (it was open this week) to sort out new flooring for the kitchen; we know how to live!
