Our day somewhat spoiled by a tyre pressure warning light - low pressure as we were loaded with all our cases and shopping - it was correct so I had to spend time finding a garage and sort it. All OK after that BUT poor visibility at the coast was disappointing .

We drove around and interesting corner between Kirkbride and Bowness on Solway via Anthorn and Cardurnock. Not many safe stopping places but some amazing views of swirling tides and miles with flowering Gorse on both sides of the road.

Back to Patterdale to new accommodation via Bassenthwaite and the A66
