The Wheatear at the stile

A chilly walk at Cown Edge from Cown Edge Farm towards Rowarth.

The first part of the walk was in bright sunlight and we could see a Hobby hawking over the fields at the Rowarth end of the East side of Cown Edge.

Then there were Wheatears in the fields and this one at one of the stiles.
