Ms Mallard and the Pond

This duck found a pond of her own, formed by a plugged drain on Willamette Blvd. But, I hope she didn't have a nest of eggs nearby, or other plans for the pond, because on the way back from our walk, she was not there, and we decided to help the water drain away by stabbing at the plugged drain holes with a long stick.
